Roosevelt City Reminds Drivers of New Signage; Crosswalk Caution Urged

It’s important that pedestrians and motorists make safety a top priority with area kids now back to school. Roosevelt City is among the agencies urging caution in addition to a reminder that there is new signage in the City. “Earlier this year, we added a four-way stop sign at the intersection of Lagoon Street and 600 East, near Union High,” shares Roosevelt City. “…As we continue to adjust to the change, we urge all drivers and pedestrians in the area to use caution.” Roosevelt Police Department recently had patrols in area intersections, pulling over 8 drivers who were not prepared for the new signs. Motorists, please watch out for other drivers who may not know about the new signage and be sure to come to a complete stop.
