Spring has sprung and Roosevelt City is prepping for the fun and beauty to be enjoyed outdoors. If you’ve noticed crews working on the grass by the Aquatic Center, Roosevelt staff is working hard on installing a new drinking fountain at the park there. This week they have been putting in a new water line to connect to the new drinking fountain that will serve those playing at the playground and pickleball and basketball courts. The drinking fountain project should be complete by the end of next week. Also, keep in mind that all Roosevelt City park bathrooms will be open for the season on April 1st. If you notice crews around the park facilities that does not mean they are open quite yet. The staff is de-winterizing the facilities and preparing them to open on April 1st. Finally, Roosevelt City is prepping for another season of beautiful flowers on Main Street and bids are being accepted for their care. Bids can be submitted on RooseveltCity.com.
