Roosevelt City Manager Joshua Bake visited the Evans Family Media studio last week to share a review of the exciting things that happened in Roosevelt City in 2024. One of the most exciting finished projects is the Nature Park located next to Uintah Basin Medical Center where community members can feel they are in the wild while still in Roosevelt City. There is even an ADA accessible trail that runs from the hospital all the way to the stocked fishing pond. Bake says this has been amazing for the community and that nothing is better than everyone working side by side to make something beautiful for the community to enjoy. Bake also shared that over the last 3 years, Roosevelt has received about $20 million dollars in grants for infrastructure projects and other amenities. The interview also discusses other projects, including the Roosevelt Library, Innovation Hub, the trail system, sports complex, downtown development, and more. Listen to the entire interview by visiting BasinNow.com and clicking on Public Affairs under the Community tab.
