Roosevelt City Kicking Off Summer with July 4th Celebration

It might have felt like everything has been postponed or cancelled when it comes to activities in the community but the Basin can look forward to a real kick-off to the summer this July 4th. Roosevelt City will be have their Fourth of July Celebration at Constitution Park. This event starts with the annual Redmund Run in the morning, a music festival throughout the day, and fireworks at night. The Redmund Run is open for online registration or you can do it the day of at 9am. There is a Kid’s Mud Bath, Kid’s Run, Youth Run, Adult Run, and Family Group (up to 6 people) with associated fees. The mud fun starts at 11am with staggered start times for social distancing safety. The music festival starts at 12pm and goes until 5pm. It will feature many artists including Silver Strings Band, Autumn Hancock, Phoenix Moon, and Barnyard Hippies to name a few. The fireworks start with a concert featuring Playlist and Charlie Jenkins at 7pm with fireworks after dark.
