The Roosevelt City Innovation Hub and Business Incubator will soon open and local photographers are asked to share their talents as part of the celebration. “This year we need your help showcasing the spirit of entrepreneurship in Roosevelt!” shares the announcement. “Winning photos will be showcased in our new Innovation Hub for our grand opening and for the following month, and of course, we have prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place contest winners.” The theme this year is ‘The Spirit of Industry, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Roosevelt’ and the submission deadline is October 7th. Roosevelt City received funds through the Rural Co-working and Innovation Center Grant Program to renovate the old Roosevelt Branch Library into the Innovation Hub. The project had a budget of $229,000 dollars and the estimated project completion is this fall.
