If you’re bored in Roosevelt City on the 4th of July it’s your own fault! Roosevelt City is hosting a 4th of July Celebration and it will be one to remember. “We are very excited for this year’s Roosevelt City 4th of July celebration,” shares Roosevelt City Mayor JR Bird. “Thanks to our Arts Park and Rec Committee, along with our wonderful staff, we have activities for just about everyone! Activities will commence Monday morning beginning with a Family Disc Golf Ace Race, then topping it all off Tuesday night with good food and entertainment from local band ‘Delroy’, followed by master musician and entertainer Mark Mackay!” Mark Mackay has a rock and roll heart and country roots, making him a perfect headliner for Independence Day. There is still time for vendors to sign up and be part of the events and time for all to find something fun to do, whether it be water dodgeball, switcholio cornhole, sandcastle building, pickleball, and more. Mayor Bird hopes to see everyone there!
