The Roosevelt City Council approved a new Hangar Lease Agreement during their Tuesday Council meeting. The agreement pertains to the main hangar at the Roosevelt Municipal Airport which was recently remodeled. At the time of the meeting, 4 of the 5 hangar spots were spoken for though it was noted that Life Flight had expressed interest in using a city hangar during storms and when needed. Mayor Bird stated that the hangar remodel looks fantastic and that the price is not in the Hangar Lease Agreement but will be listed in the fee schedule. The airport board’s recommendation is a rate of $300 per hangar which would bring in $1500 dollars a month. The Council discussed briefly before approving the Hangar Lease Agreement as presented.
