Roosevelt and Ballard City have teamed up on an exciting project anticipated by many in the Uintah Basin. The neighboring Cities are working to see a proposed gun range project become a reality. “We’ve had some hiccups when it comes to funding for this project, but the Mayor is passionate about it, and it’s another that we believe will benefit not only our citizens, but the surrounding communities as well,” shares Roosevelt City PIO Sunshine Bellon. “We are currently collaborating with Ballard City to start the first phase of the project.” During a November City Council meeting, it was stated that an MOU would be drafted to outline the expectations of each City and to protect the interests of both Cities.
