Roosevelt City is ready to welcome the community to the 2nd annual New Year’s Eve celebration taking place December 31st at Constitution Park in Roosevelt City. Mayor JR Bird shares that this is the third year the city will have an ice skating rink and the second year the skating will kick off in conjunction with the fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Free ice skating will be going on all day with free hot cocoa starting at 6pm and fireworks at 8pm. This celebration also serves as the kickoff to the annual Winterfest festivities that last throughout the month of January in Roosevelt City. Mayor Bird says this is all about bringing the community together for some fun.
