Roosevelt City is celebrating its 40th year of the Holly Fair. The fair has been reimagined due to COVID-19 concerns. But don’t worry, there will still be plenty of vendors, around 250 of them in fact. “The Roosevelt Holly Fair 2020 has been reimagined to make it perfect!” shares Duchesne County Commissioner Irene Hansen. “Social distancing and masks will be required but what a great time everyone will have at five great locations including the Centennial Event Center in Duchesne City and the original four locations in Roosevelt which are the Grace Event Center, the Crossroads Center, the Frontier Grill, and the Strata building. The Holly Fair always kicks off every holiday season in the Uintah Basin.” Shopping starts today, November 6th, at 10am and goes to 8pm. It continues Saturday from 9am to 4pm. The Basin Transit Association will run both days from 12pm to 4pm. There is over $1,200 in door prizes.
