A rock slide closed a road near Dinosaur National Monument on Monday. According to the Monument’s Chief of Visitor Services Dan Johnson, the rock slide happened in the Plug Hat Butte area, closing the Harpers Corner Road between the Monument headquarters near Dinosaur, Colorado and Moffat County Road 16. The rock slide has not affected access to the Dinosaur Quarry on the Utah side of Dinosaur National Monument.
