he second year of the Rise and Thrive Business Speed Pitch competition culminates tomorrow night at the Uintah Conference Center and all are invited to come see who walks away with the money and the crown. 31 applications were received this year and the contestants have been narrowed down through the preliminary competition to the top 10 made up of 7 standard competitors and 3 students. Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion says it’s enjoyable to watch the entrepreneurial spirit of those involved. The final event is free to the public and takes place Wednesday, March 9th, at 6pm at the Uintah Conference Center.
