State parks located in Daggett, Uintah, and Duchesne Counties are no longer restricted to residents only residing within each county. The Utah Department of Natural Resources announced Friday that Governor Herbert had lifted the restrictions on all Utah State Parks and the only state parks that remained restricted were due to local health orders. At that time, Uintah Basin counties remained listed as restricted but on Monday the three counties in the TriCounty Health District were removed from the restricted list. As of Monday evening, only Summit, Wasatch, Carbon, Emery, and Grand remained on the restricted list where only residents could visit state parks in their own county. Still, the Utah Department of Natural Resources is urging all to practice responsible recreation, continue social distancing, and do not visit a state park if you have been sick.
