Representative Moore Visiting Uintah Basin Today

Making good on his promise to serve and get to know his constituents, Utah Representative Blake Moore is making stops throughout the Uintah Basin today. Addressing his Uintah Basin constituents on Monday, Moore shared the following: “One of my top priorities in Congress will be to push back against Biden administration policies that unfairly disadvantage residents of the Basin. These constituents are already facing economic challenges and higher unemployment rates, and the administration’s latest mineral extraction mandate will disproportionately impact the area. I am using my position on the House Natural Resources Committee to fight policies that hinder Utahns’ access to public land and our ability to expand economic development in the Basin. There are multiple agencies with jurisdiction over Utah’s federal lands, and I am committed to helping them understand how actions like these executive orders impact rural Utah. We can achieve a balance between economic development and environmental conservation, and I am looking forward to getting started and helping those who need it the most.” After making stops throughout the area on Tuesday, Moore will be a radio guest on Newstalk 104.5 FM AM 920 KVEL at 6:00 pm. All are invited to tune in.
