State House District 67 Representative Christine Watkins gave a report at the meeting of the Roosevelt Business Alliance this week.
Among the topics discussed, Watkins said the legislature did a lot of great things focused on energy this year. One she is proud of is securing funding for the longevity of the San Rafael Energy Research Center located in Carbon County. She stated that the goal is to support energy research and on-site manufacturing and it’s exciting to keep the research center in place with the opportunity to grow into the future. She said the center’s research benefits rural communities in the State of Utah.
