A repeat DUI offender was arrested over the weekend in Vernal, this time with juveniles in the vehicle with him. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a dark colored SUV traveling eastbound on 100 North was pulled over for a variety of violations. The officer approached the vehicle and noted an adult passenger in the front and two juveniles on the back seat. The driver was identified as 27-year-old Tyler James Wuolle and the officer noted that his eyes were bloodshot and glossy. He also spoke with slurred speech. A check revealed a statewide warrant for Tyler’s arrest out of Vernal’s 8th District Court. The officer initiated the arrest. An open pint bottle of fireball was located in the vehicle. Tyler was asked to perform field sobriety testing, which he agreed to and failed. He was placed under arrest for DUI and transported to the Uintah County Jail. The charge is a 3rd Degree Felony because of prior DUI convictions in 2015 and 2019.
