A repeat DUI driver was arrested in Duchesne County on June 1st after being found passed out in a vehicle blocking the middle of the roadway. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 47-year-old Andrew Cuch was awake but not alert when officers arrived and EMTs at the scene reported that there was not a medical issue as had been suggested. One witness had observed Cuch driving southbound on North Crescent Road and driving into the oncoming lane. Another witness observed the vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. Cuch was arrested on DUI as well as for driving on a denied license as an alcohol restricted driver and for having multiple open containers of liquor and beer inside the vehicle. Because of prior convictions, the DUI charge is a 3rd Degree Felony. He is scheduled for his initial appearance in court on June 18th.
