Uintah Basin high school students looking for college scholarships are in luck. Representatives of the state will be coming to Roosevelt on October 15th to inform the community about the Regents’ Scholarship, a merit-based award for seniors that can be used towards education at nearly every school in Utah. The event will be at Union High in the auditorium. There will be two sessions, one at 6:30 pm and one at 7:00 pm, to educate attendees about the benefits of the scholarship and what students will need to complete to qualify. Anyone from eighth grade to twelfth and their family is invited. Pick a session and attend to learn all about this amazing scholarship opportunity!
