After a long delay, construction on the Red Fleet State Park is moving forward. Park Manager Amanda White shares that they have a final list from potential contractors due on April 19th so it’s anticipated they will have a company hired by the end of the month. Construction meetings are expected to be set in the beginning of May when a construction timeline and schedule will be created.
“While currently we are still under snow and don’t have water turned on, the park is OPEN until we can no longer safely allow access,” explains White. “[We] will share that with the public when we have a set date. The dinosaur trackway trail and North Beach access will remain open throughout the construction.” In the meantime, remember to pay your day-use fees and recreate responsibility.
