Ride the Rockies, a major bicycle tour in the U.S., has announced its route that includes much of western Colorado and the Town of Rangely is looking for recruits to help with their part of hosting the event. This year’s 409 mile route will accommodate over 2000 riders from all 50 states and several foreign countries over 6 days starting in Steamboat Springs and ending in Fruita. Stops along the way will include Craig, Meeker, and Rangely, with an option to ride to Harper’s Corner Overlook in Dinosaur National Monument. The event will run June 9th through the 15th.
