Rangely Police Department K9 ‘Eiko’ to Get Body Armor

A hard working Rangely PD officer will soon be suited in safer gear. The Rangely Police Department shared on Tuesday that their K9 officer ‘Eiko’ will be receiving a bullet and stab protective vest thanks to a charitable donation from the non-profit organization, Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The non-profit has provided over 3,830 custom fitted vests in all 50 states thanks to $6.9 million dollars in donations from private and corporate organizations.
