A public hearing of the Vernal City Planning Commission has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th to consider amending the Vernal City Municipal Planning and Zoning Code to consider changes to a section of code concerning ‘Designation of Land Use Authority’. A second public hearing will be held during the Vernal City Council meeting on Wednesday, January 17th to consider the final recommendation of the Vernal City Planning Commission regarding the ordinance. Both public hearings will be held in the Vernal City Council Chambers at 374 East Main in Vernal. Property owners and other interested persons are urged to attend. The January 9th public hearing is scheduled for 5:30pm and the January 17th public hearing is scheduled for 6:15pm.
