A Duchesne County man on federal probation for dangerous weapon charges was arrested last week after a compliance check revealed violations to his parole. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 26-year-old Trey Allan Shepherd told officers he had recently used meth and heroin. A large knife that had its handle wrapped in black tape was found in his room as well as pieces to a bong. In the fridge, officers found unopened alcohol which is a violation as Trey has a no alcohol clause in his federal probation agreement. He was brought into custody and has new charges, including 3rd Degree Felony Possession or Use of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person, and other Misdemeanor drug charges.
