All hands on deck! The Roosevelt Interfaith group has teamed up with Roosevelt City to host a clean up effort ahead of upcoming summer events. “Roosevelt citizens love our country and our city, so the Roosevelt Interfaith Advisory Committee and Roosevelt City have teamed up to host our ‘Pride in America Citywide Cleanup’,” shares the announcement. “Residents and volunteer groups will have the opportunity to show their pride by helping to make our community shine! Cleaning will happen across the city. Organizers will help volunteers to select work areas where their efforts will make the biggest impact. ‘Home Base’ for the project is the American Legion building next to Central Park.” The event is taking place on July 1st starting at 7am. Bring your gloves, and tools like brooms, shovels, and dustpans. Garbage bags, snacks and water will be provided. Hats, sun protection, eye protection, bandanas and extra water are highly recommended. Large groups are asked to coordinate with Terry at 435-823-4215.
