Preliminary Election Results in Duchesne County and Uintah County

The 2020 Duchesne County General Election preliminary results on Tuesday night reported an 80.66 percent voter turnout with 8,000 ballots cast out of 9,918 registered voters. In Duchesne County, 773 ballots were cast for Biden for President, 7,016 were cast for Trump. For House District 1, Parry received 753 votes while Moore received 6,621. For Governor, Peterson received 678 votes while Cox received 5,748. For all other state and county races, the majority of Duchesne County voters cast their vote for the Republican candidate. The Duchesne County School Board District #4 race received 830 votes for Brandon Bench and 705 votes for Wyatt Gines. All other races on Duchesne County ballots were uncontested. The 2020 Uintah County General Election preliminary results on Tuesday night reported an 88.44 percent voter turnout with 14,859 ballots cast out of 16,802 registered voters. In Uintah County, 1,601 ballots were cast for Biden for President, 12,777 were cast for Trump. For House District 1, Parry received 1,556 votes while Moore received 12,229. For Governor, Peterson received 1,433 votes while Cox received 9,935. For all other state and county races, the majority of Uintah County voters cast their vote for the Republican candidate. The Uintah School Board District #4 race received 968 votes for Sarah Lamb and 1,492 votes for Tawnya McKee. The Uintah School Board District #5 race received 1,187 votes for Kurt Case and 1,760 votes for Todd Massey. All other races on Uintah County ballots were uncontested.
