The PRCA has announced its 2025 Playoff Series and Vernal will be the first stop made in Utah on the rodeo schedule. The year-long schedule features the 60 highest paying rodeos in the sport. The Playoff Series will culminate with the Cinch Playoffs Governor’s Cup in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Utah stops in the 60 rodeo series include Vernal, Oakley, Salt Lake, Ogden, Spanish Fork, Heber, Logan, and Tremonton. The Playoff Series accounted for more than $28 million in payouts in 2024 and is expected to increase yet again. The 2025 Playoff Series will be presented by Pendleton Whisky.
