The Powerhouse Dance Studio packed the house performing The Nutcracker on December 18th and 19th. This year’s ballet starred Kaylee Russell as Clara, Cutler Rust as the Nutcracker Prince, Shilo Grayhawk as the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Harlee Woods as the Rat King. “The dancers did an outstanding job and I am so pleased with their performances,” says director and choreographer Taunia Wheeler. The Nutcracker has become a tradition around Christmas time. With dancers ranging from ages 3 to 43, this performance by the Powerhouse Dance Studio is truly a work of art that brings a little bit of magic to the Christmas season.
