A friendly postcard reminder of upcoming vehicle registration renewal is starting back up in Utah. The Utah State Tax Commission announced Monday that the postcards are starting to be mailed again even though they still encourage all to register for email reminders on dmv.utah.gov. The return of the postcard reminders is thanks to the efforts of Representative Scott Chew and the passing of HB 170 which he sponsored. The bill was created as a solution to confusion that resulted after the state moved to an all electronic system for reminders of upcoming vehicle registration deadlines.
