South Salt Lake Police Department is warning Utah residents to be on the lookout for a man known to visit the Uintah Basin and considered armed and dangerous. “On December 4th, at approximately 6:30am, at the Maverick gas station at 3260 South West Temple in South Salt Lake City, a 28 year old victim was shot in the face,” shares the police department. “A 2004 gray/silver Dodge Durango fled the scene. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as .” Brinton has a criminal history and is considered armed and dangerous. Police are looking for the 2004 gray/silver Dodge Durango that Brinton was identified as driving. Brinton has been known to frequent homeless tent campsites in Duchesne County as well as Salt Lake County. If you suspect you have seen Brinton or his vehicle, do not approach. Instead, call 9-1-1.
