UDOT is alerting drivers to plan for lane restrictions and travel delays on Highway 40 in Uintah County starting as early as today. The project will resurface a 10-mile section of the highway from Naples City to just east of the Green River. “In addition to the resurfacing work, crews will be repairing the bridges where US-40 crosses the Green River and Ashley Creek,” shares UDOT. “Drivers should expect travel delays associated with one-way traffic conditions Monday through Friday, between 7am and 7pm. Access to properties and businesses will be maintained as much as possible, at the same time, crews will need to temporarily restrict access to accommodate the construction work.” Direct questions to the information team at 435-233-6646 or udotregion3@utah.gov.
