Tonight is the monthly USU Uintah Basin Speaker Series and the speaker will be local pediatrician Dr. Ethan Pettit. Dr. Pettit grew up in Logan, Utah. He served a 2-year mission for his church, married his fantastic wife, and then finished his undergraduate degree at BYU. He decided to attend medical school at Des Moines University, chose Pediatrics as a specialty, and did his residency at a children’s hospital in Iowa. His desire to progress led him to start his pediatric practice in Vernal, which challenges him in many unique ways. His presentation for tonight is titled ‘Be a Good Neighbor: Your Health Impacts Your Community’. This is a free event open to anyone who wants to attend. Interested parties can go to USU Uintah Basin Vernal Campus room B101 at 7pm or watch the live Aggiecast, a link that can be found on the USU Uintah Basin website.
