A passenger in a vehicle pulled over in Uintah County for a traffic stop was arrested on a warrant and drug charges this week. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, the traffic stop happened on Highway 40 on October 23rd in Ballard. One of the passengers identified himself as Christopher Cairoli who was found to have an active statewide warrant out for his arrest. Upon exiting the vehicle, a syringe-like needle was observed in plain view in his right front pocket that was found to have a brown residue believed to be Heroin. Christopher also admitted to having a ball of Methamphetamine and a ball of Heroin concealed on his person and that he has sold and distributed both within the past week. He was booked into Uintah County Jail and is facing additional charges, including 2 counts of 2nd Degree Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor Paraphernalia charges.
