A passenger in a Uintah County traffic stop this month was arrested on a no bail warrant and additional charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, a narcotics detection canine was deployed giving a positive indication and a search was conducted of the vehicle. 30-year-old Shauntay Dawn Clark had an open bottle of alcohol in her purse and she told officers she had a machete in the vehicle. She advised officers that she uses methamphetamine regularly and had a meth pipe in her bra. Officers also found a digital scale with meth residue inside and a long fixed blade in Clark’s belongings. Clark was booked on a no bail warrant as well as new weapon and drug charges.
