Uintah School District is hosting a parent night called A Night with Dr. Kane. Doctor Christy Kane will guide participants through a fun and informative evening this Thursday. She will talk about the neurological impacts of trauma. Knowing this lays a foundation as to why rates of anxiety, stress, depression, suicide, and conflict are increasing in all areas of life. After the neurological journey Dr.Kane will present and provide evidence based tools that individuals, schools, and communities can use to help decrease those rates and aid in the improvement of a more balanced life. This event is free and has change from an in-person event to a zoom on. The event is taking place November 19th at 7pm.
