Over 15,000 Uintah County Citizens Vote; Uintah County Shares Message

Over 15,000 citizens in Uintah County voted in Tuesday’s election and the Uintah County Commission and Uintah County Clerk-Auditor have shared a message to thank the voters of Uintah County for another successful election. “The majority of ballots were cast by mail-in or drop-off with approximately 1,250 in-person votes cast on Election Day,” shares their message. “All ballots are processed as they arrive. During this election, Uintah County encouraged residents to visit the Clerk-Auditor’s office to learn more about how ballots are processed and counted to ensure election integrity.” County administration also thanked local law enforcement for safeguarding the polling locations and the staff members in the Clerk-Auditor’s Office as well as the 32 election volunteers. “Election volunteers complete election training and volunteered many hours of their time to ensure the election was conducted properly and efficiently.” The Election Audit will take place at 9am on November 13th. The Election Canvas will take place at 3pm on November 19th. Uintah County encourages anyone contacted by the Clerk-Auditor’s Office regarding ballot discrepancies to complete the required affidavit to ensure every vote is counted.
