The show must go on! It is true that a major overhaul is happening this year on the Western Park Amphitheater but that isn’t stopping Outlaw Trail Theater from putting on their annual production. In fact, Outlaw Trail Theater announced on Thursday that their 2023 Season will have three shows. The first is a series of three radio mysteries by Agatha Christie called ‘Murder In The Studio’. It will be performed in the Conference Center as a dinner theater in April. There will also be a dance floor provided for dancing after the show, all in the period of the 1950’s. Their summer production will be a melodrama called ‘Tied to the Tracks’. “While it is a relatively unknown show, it is a hilarious melodrama that will be a fan favorite for years to come,” shares Outlaw Trail Board President Jay Haslem. “We picked this show because of the unknowns of the current facility. We will have a smaller cast than we are used to so that we can maneuver around any changes that may be happening at the Western Park.” The third show will be ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ in October. “This one is a pet project for us as we have held the rights to do this show for the last three years,” explains Haslem. “We are now able to produce this fan favorite as a dinner theater in the Conference Center that will blow our audiences away.” Audition information and tickets will be available on January 31st.
