For those invested in local community theater, the big question for the last 6 months has been what’s the Outlaw Trail Theater summer show going to be?!? Months into 2021 and just as hope was fading, a show announcement came through and auditions announced. The Outlaw Trail Theater Summer 2021 show will be Hello, Dolly! While this has been welcome and exciting news to many, it also came with an unexpected announcement. After over 2 decades of sharing their time and talents, Ron and Jo Ellen Litton are taking a well deserved rest from the massive undertaking of producing the annual summer show. For this year and moving forward, a five person board has been created to keep the legacy of Outlaw Trail Theater going. Hello, Dolly! is being directed by Andrew Bentley and Taunia Wheeler. Auditions are taking place May 5th and 6th at the Western Park Ice Rink at 7pm both nights. Families are encouraged to audition as, according to the announcement, this is the perfect show for parents and youth to do together. Rehearsals will start on May 10th and the show will run select nights from June 22nd through July 2nd.
