If you’re looking for a unique activity this weekend, take time to check out the Old Testament Tabernacle in Roosevelt. The traveling exhibit is a historically accurate life-size replica of the Tabernacle of Moses that was used for the worship of the ancient Israelites. It was built as a fantastic object lesson enjoyed by many thousands of people over the last 8 years. There has been excitement amongst the communities in the Uintah Basin but there are a few rumors that need to be corrected. First, while it was originally announced that tickets were needed to take the tour, that is not the case. All are welcome. No ticket required. Second, it was rumored that the Tabernacle would be headed to Vernal after Roosevelt and that is not the case. It will be available May 12th through the 16th, excluding Mother’s Day on the 14th, at 502 North 600 East in Roosevelt. Go to www.TabernacleUtah.com to learn more.
