A unique experience offered in Roosevelt last week was a success that attracted large
crowds. The Tabernacle experience is a touring life size replica of the Tabernacle in the
Old Testament that has been traveling around Utah. It was set up in Roosevelt with free
tours held over 4 days with the help of volunteers, mostly teenage members of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Event organizers shared over the weekend that the
Tabernacle experience in the Basin was an awesome experience with a variety of guests
and positive feedback. When all was said and done, there were 1,135 volunteers,
averaging over 280 each night, and 6,169 total guests that took the tour. Thanks was
expressed to all that participated in this unique experience.
