Eloise C Ledbetter

 Eloise C. Ledbetter, age 69, of Myton, passed away July 21, 2022, at the University of Utah Hospital. 
    She was born September 4, 1952, in Roosevelt, to Melba Accawinna and Hewitt Colorow.  She married Clint Edwin Ledbetter on October 2, 1989, in Ft. Duchesne.  
    Eloise worked for over 30 years as an accountant and secretary for the Ute Tribe Water Systems.  After her retirement, she enjoyed being a homemaker.  She was a very strong supporter of her Ute heritage and took part in Bear Dances, Sundances, Pow Wows, and Peyote Meetings.  She was a loving mother, aunt, sister, and friend and was a favorite of the nieces and nephews because she was always had snacks, cookies, and various things to give to them.  She was very caring and really had a friendly spirit that helped her make friends with anyone and everyone.  Her hobbies included traveling, shopping, crocheting, beadworking, playing on her tablet and tending to her animals.  She was a good cook, especially her tortillas and fry bread, and was known for her fruit salad.
    Eloise was well taken care of by her husband, Clint, who stood by her during thick and thin.  
    She is survived by her loving husband of almost 33 years, Clint; a son, Melicio, both of Myton; siblings, Everett (Mary) Colorow, Arcadia; Loretta (Duane) Burchick, Maryland; Freda Groves; Robert J Colorow, both of Myton; Camille Pauline Appawora, Roosevelt; Lynn Appawora, Henry Appawora, both of Myton; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Velma Sireech & Nelson Colorow, Arbon Colorow; nieces and nephews, Cody Duane Appawora; Terry Rose Jenks; Willie Bates, Jr.; Suzette Sireech; & Anthony Chavez.  
    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Myton Community Building.  There will be a wake at the Community Building after 4:00 p.m. on Monday. 
    Burial will be in the Myton Cemetery.
