Slick roads were a likely factor in a semi versus train collision on Highway 191 on Thursday near Mile Marker 230. According to Utah Highway Patrol, it happened at about 4:30pm. “A semi came up to the tracks and got caught under the crossing arms,” shares Sgt. Cameron Roden. “We aren’t 100% sure why yet but he could have slid or the driver said the arms came down on the truck…The train came by and clipped the truck that was sticking through. It damaged the truck and the engine but no injuries [were reported].” It took about 2 hours to clear the roadway and thankfully, the semi was empty at the time of the collision.
