Thankfully, there were no injuries reported in a collision between a school bus and car that occurred on Monday morning in Uintah County. Uintah School District made the announcement of the crash involving Bus 82. According to the responding Uintah County Sheriff’s deputies, the crash happened when a driver backing out of their driveway onto 1500 South failed to see the bus. “The driver of the bus honked twice to try to alert the other driver, but it did not work,” shares the school district announcement. “The bus driver also tried to stop, but slid due to icy conditions and the bus and car collided. The 34 students on the bus were transferred to another bus and taken to their respective schools.” The damage to the bus and car was minor.
