There were no injuries in a commercial fire in Vernal City on Thursday. Uintah County Fire Marshal Jeremy Raymond reports that Vernal Fire responded to a structure fire at Ridgeline Motorsports on East Main Street at around 5:53pm Thursday evening. Crews arrived to find a fire on the roof which was then extinguished. They cut into the roof to make sure there was no fire extension. Raymond estimated the damage at around $30,000 dollars and stated that the cause was accidental. There were no injuries.
