A new scholarship open to residents of Duchesne, Daggett, and Uintah counties is intended to help some specific local groups. LaRose Construction has established the scholarship to provide educational opportunities at UBTech for Native Americans and for local single parents. “We’ve been blessed in so many ways, and now it’s our turn to give back to the community that has supported us,” shares LaRose Construction owner Erik LaRose, who himself is a graduate of UBTech’s CDL program. UBTech President Aaron Weight is grateful for the donation. “This scholarship will have a lasting impact on the lives of many students,” says Weight. “It’s incredible to see businesses like LaRose Construction pay it forward, creating positive change for generations to come.” Learn more about this and other UBTech scholarships at www.UBTech.edu.
