Charges have been filed in 8th District Court in an incident from last month when a repeat offender once again was caught driving under the influence.  According to the Probable Cause Statement, 33-year-old Hiet Delenor Jenks of Roosevelt was observed in Uintah County crossing over the white fog line on the roadway in a vehicle with expired registration. Once stopped, the officer noted that there was an open bottle of alcohol on the floorboard as well as other unopened alcoholic beverages. Charges filed against Hiet Dlenor Jenks last week in 8th District Court include 3rd Degree Felony  DUI, Failure to Stay In One Lane, Open Container, Driving on a Denied License, Alcohol Restricted Driver, and Failure to Register a Vehicle.
