Naples City Makes Emergency Declaration; Offices Open by Appointment Only

Naples City formally issued an Emergency Declaration Executive Order on March 31st concerning the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The declaration states that this constitutes an official recognition that there is a local emergency affecting Naples City and that it provides a legal basis for requesting and obtaining mutual aid and disaster assistance. It also authorizes the furnishing of aid and should be interpreted liberally to assist local business, organizations, and families to apply for and receive available financial aid. Also on Tuesday, Naples City Manager Joshua Bake announced that starting Wednesday, April 1st, the Naples City office will conduct business with individuals by appointment only. The Naples City offices will be locked although staff is available to those who call ahead of time to make an appointment first.
