Rather than have 2 fireworks shows in a year, Naples City has decided to just host one large fireworks show each July. This means the New Year’s Eve fireworks that started in 2017 will not be happening this year and the resources will all be focused on the 24th of July celebration. “We are doubling our efforts on the July 24th fireworks and activities,” shares Naples City Mayor Dean Baker. “Last July 24th was a super day of activities and vendor booths culminating in the fireworks show.” On Pioneer Day 2021, Naples City welcomed over 5,000 guests to the activities. They plan to continue the tradition, hopefully growing as they go.
