Myton Man Facing Charges For Selling Fentanyl To Informant

The work to get Fentanyl and other drugs off the streets is ongoing and something law enforcement is focused on. A man with a criminal history had new charges filed in 8th District Court this week for actions performed in Uintah County in November 2024. According to the Probable Cause Statement, 36-year-old Adrian Silva of Myton did intentionally sell a baggie of Fentanyl and a baggie of Methamphetamine to a confidential informant for $90 on November 16th, 2024, and another bag of Fentanyl to a confidential informant for $40 on November 18th, 2024. Silva was out on parole at that time and is now back in custody at the Utah State Prison. The new charges include multiple counts of 2nd Degree Felony Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Misdemeanor drug charges.
