Myton City has been hard at work on a major water line project resulting in water service interruptions for Myton citizens. On Wednesday, water was turned off for the Main Street project and Myton City explained in their announcement that the reason for the water projects “is so when a water issue happens in the future the disruptions will be isolated to only the immediate area.” The project is scheduled to continue east along Main Street and more service interruptions are expected. “One way to mitigate the hardship for your household is to fill several gallon jugs that could be used for drinking water, pouring in the back of the toilet to use your facilities, or to wash up during a water outage,” shares Myton City, also emphasizing that they will do everything in their power to limit outages, however, unexpected occurrences will happen.
