Artists whose work has brightened up buildings throughout the Uintah Basin are receiving praise for their latest project in Moffat County, Colorado. The Craig Chamber of Commerce hired Vernal based Ninty1 Designs to turn a Craig landmark into something more. “The old drive-in, which has been an iconic structure of Craig’s for generations, underwent an inspiring transformation over the past few weeks,” shared a Craig Chamber of Commerce announcement. “The project was initiated with the goal of revitalizing this site while paying homage to the unique spirit of our community. The mural project has exceeded all expectations and promises to be a point of pride for our town for years to come.” The Chamber also emphasized that the collaboration, in their words, “transformed the highly visible landmark into a visual masterpiece welcoming people to Moffat County and showcasing [the] county’s vibrancy.” Selfies with the mural have already been popping up online, including one with Colorado Senator Dylan Roberts. The Town of Rangely, Colorado announced over the weekend that they are next in adding new color to their town having also contracted with Jordan Clark with Ninty1 Designs for an update to a town mural that has deteriorated with time.
